Alt-J Top 5 Songs
Alt-J is one of the most unique “indie” “rock” bands (according to Google) that you will ever come across. The combination of almost audible English from “Joe Newman“, ridiculously intricate drum play from the-one-who-never-talks “Thom Green”. This is also in the company of amazing keyboardist “Gus Unger-Hamilton“. A man definitely worth the mention, that the band and fans also benefitted greatly from, “Gwil Sainsbury“, the bleach blonde Brit who killed it on the bass and famously known for his skills with the “the clam” in Fitzpleasure, but has since left the band in 2014.
If you know this band, you never really understand how you found them. If you don’t know this band, get ready to be satisfied, confused, and thoroughly entertained.
WHY I FELL IN LOVE WITH COMICS
A year ago I was pretty much the person that was the “anti-comic fan” sort of like the antichrist…but less..ya know Satan-y. But oddly enough as a 16-year-old African/American girl born in Nigeria, I sit on the boardwalk of the Venn diagram that is minority v.s. the majority of the Comic Book fan base.

From Mario to Sonic these iconic video games have lived on through the 80’s & 90’s, maintaining the place in our little gamer hearts that they fell in. Although pretty much all of these listed below dawned before I did, these gems still hold up even for the later generations. So buckle up for a ride of good ole nostalgia, and enjoy! Make sure to let me know what you think in the comments below.
“The Ones We Leave Behind” is another dense episode that fortunately doesn’t feel like it drags. Two of the leads deal differently with killing, there’s some backstabbing in the consortium, some classic Daredevil roof hopping, and another climactic and shocking ending. Damn. Fucking Sony.
It opens with Karen tossing the gun in the river. She’s obviously messed up after murdering Wesley and this plays out once she gets home and hits the bottle hard to put herself to sleep. She wakes up startled thinking she hears something, but then relaxes and decides to switch to beer for bed. Does that ever work? She turns from the fridge and our bald menace is staring her down. He delivers another stellar speech telling her he knows how hard it is to take a life. He goes on about how you feel the weight of the person’s life, the cherished moments, and such…
